Test rules at XMU
Every page gives the overall figure only, with no section minimums, and names XMU's TOEFL DI code as C310. The FAQ asks for a valid TOEFL iBT or IELTS Academic report. None of the pages mentions the Home Edition or MyBest scores.
TOEFL iBT score reports issued since January 2026 also carry a 1 to 6 band score alongside the 0 to 120 total; see our guide to the new TOEFL score scale. The page above gives only 0 to 120 figures, so that is what this guide reports.
On the same pages, the IELTS Academic alternative is 6.0 overall.

If your TOEFL score falls short
XMU accepts an English-as-medium-of-instruction certificate from the high school (for bachelor's and MBBS) or previous university (for graduate study) where English was the main teaching language, or other equivalent certificates it recognises. No conditional entry is described.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your XMU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
