Bubbles Launderette, Station Road

Bubbles is a self-service launderette with twelve washing machines and eight dryers. It is open every day from 7 am until 9 pm. The machines take coins only, but there is a machine by the door which gives change for notes. A large wash costs £5, and twenty minutes in a dryer costs £2. Washing powder can be bought at the counter if you forget your own. Please do not leave machines unattended, as staff are not responsible for lost items. There is free Wi-Fi and a seating area while you wait.

Colbridge Dry Cleaners

We clean suits, coats, dresses and curtains with great care. Most items are ready in two working days, although wedding dresses can take up to two weeks. Small repairs, such as replacing a button or a zip, can be done while the item is with us. We have been in the same shop on Mill Lane since 1985. We are closed on Sundays. Customers who bring in five or more items receive ten per cent off the total price.

Fresh Fold Laundry Service

Too busy to do your own washing? Leave a bag of laundry with us in the morning and collect it clean, dried and folded the same evening. Prices depend on weight, starting at £9 for up to five kilos. Clothes are washed at forty degrees unless you ask for something different, and payment is taken when you collect. We offer free collection and delivery for customers who live within two miles of the shop, but you need to book this at least a day ahead. Please note that we cannot wash duvets or pillows.

Kingsway Ironing and Alterations

Kingsway offers a fast ironing service for shirts and trousers at £1.50 per item. We also shorten trousers and make dresses smaller or larger, and we will tell you the price when you bring the clothes in. Shirts handed in before 11 am can be collected the next morning. Alterations usually take one week. We do not offer washing or dry cleaning. Our shop is next to the post office and is open from 10 am to 6 pm, Tuesday to Saturday.
