Pinecroft Holiday Chalet Park: Guest Information
Skip to the questions ↓Welcome to Pinecroft
We hope you enjoy your stay at Pinecroft Holiday Chalet Park. This sheet explains how the park is laid out and gives some important information about your holiday. Please keep it in your chalet for the rest of your stay.
Arriving at the park
The entrance is in the south-east of the park, where Pine Drive comes in from the main road. Please drive slowly: the speed limit is 10 miles per hour. The Site Office is immediately on your left as you come in, and you must collect your keys there. On your right is the bike hut, which has bicycles for adults and children and also rents out child seats and helmets. Next to the Site Office, on its western side, is the mini-market, which sells food and household items and bakes fresh bread every morning. Guests should leave their cars in the Car Park in the south-west corner of the park.
Around Pine Drive
Pine Drive runs north from the entrance and then turns west across the park. South of the drive, in the west of the park, is the launderette, with washing machines and dryers that take tokens from the Site Office. Next to the launderette, on its eastern side, is the games barn, which has table football, a pool table and arcade games. Further east are the Meadow Chalets, which are the largest on the park and are suitable for families of up to eight people.
Near the lake
North of Pine Drive, the Lakeside Chalets are in the west of the park and have views across Pinecroft Lake. To their east is the barbecue area, which guests can use free of charge, and beyond that are the Tennis Courts. The Woodland Chalets are on the eastern side of the park, among the trees. Rowing boats may be taken out from the boat jetty, which is at the eastern end of the lake, just north of the Tennis Courts.
Park rules
Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 8 am. Barbecues may only be lit in the barbecue area, and fires of any kind are not allowed near the chalets. Life jackets must be worn by everyone in a rowing boat, and children under fourteen must be accompanied by an adult on the lake.
