Stages in the Fog Harvesting Process

  1. Initial planning: Site selection along coastal areas.
  2. Collector nets must be built along a high 1 to capture rising marine fog.
  3. Mesh fibres are treated with a special 2 to assist water release.
  4. Tiny moisture particles merge into larger 3 on the mesh surface.
  5. Water is pulled down by gravity into open 4 underneath the nets.
  6. Runoff passes through a layer of 5 to eliminate trapped dust and debris.
  7. Clean water is directed into a covered 6 to stop evaporation.
