The examiner asks three to five short questions on two or three everyday topics in the first four to five minutes. These are the 11 questions about study in the BandLadder test bank, with sample answers for the most frequent ones. Aim for two or three sentences each: answer, reason, one detail.

At the moment, my main focus is on modern history, specifically the political shifts in Europe during the twentieth century. I am also taking an elective course in comparative literature, which offers a refreshing change of pace from my more analytical historical research.
