In 2000, the robotics market was valued at 8 billion dollars. Over the next decade, growth was steady but gradual, with the value rising to 11 billion dollars in 2005 and reaching 15 billion dollars by 2010. This represents a modest increase of 7 billion dollars over the first ten years.

From 2015, the pace of growth intensified considerably. The market value climbed to 27 billion dollars in 2015, followed by a further rise to 42 billion dollars in 2020. By 2025, the market reached its peak at 68 billion dollars.
