What PTE score do you need for Abertay University?

Abertay lists 'Pearsons (PTE Academic)' at 59 overall with all components at 59 and says it does not accept the online version. Validity is two years.

The courses above the standard level include BSc Food, Nutrition and Health (IELTS 6.5 with 6.0), Global MBA (6.5 with 6.0), BSc Mental Health Nursing (7.0), MSc Counselling (7.0), MSc Cyber Law and Ethics (7.0 with 6.5), MSc Sports Therapy (7.0 with 6.5) and postgraduate research (7.0 with 6.5). The page gives no PTE score for these, so confirm one with Abertay.

The page lists the OIDI Online Pre-Sessional English among accepted qualifications but gives no PTE entry point for a pre-sessional.

For the Student visa itself, gov.uk asks for English equivalent to CEFR B2 at degree level or above and B1 below degree level, and says a university can assess degree-level applicants' English itself. Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Abertay programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
