What PTE score do you need for Arden University?

Arden distinguishes the tests clearly: PTE Academic UKVI is accepted, while the non-UKVI PTE Academic and PTE Academic Online are not. The evidence it asks for is the PTE score report with the score report code, and validity is two years. The page says it is guidance, published May 2025, and that your student advisor can confirm details.

Against IELTS, Arden asks for 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each band and accepts both UKVI and non-UKVI IELTS Academic, but not IELTS Online. For PTE, only the UKVI version is allowed.

Arden runs foundation-year versions of several degrees, such as BA (Hons) Business Management with Foundation Year; the requirements page gives no separate PTE entry score for them. It may also consider other English qualifications if you contact your student advisor.

For the Student visa itself, gov.uk asks for English equivalent to CEFR B2 at degree level or above and B1 below degree level, and says a university can assess degree-level applicants' English itself. Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Arden programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
