What TOEFL score do you need for Boise State University?

Send official scores from ETS with school code 4018; graduate scores must still be valid when Boise State receives them. The graduate page says Boise State is still finalising its minimums for the new TOEFL scale, so graduate applicants with a 1 to 6 score should ask International Admissions.

For comparison, the first-year page sets IELTS 6.0, and the graduate page sets IELTS 6.5.

If your score is below 68 TOEFL but you meet the other admission requirements, you can apply for the Pathway Program. Placement depends on your score: 62 to 67 places you in IEPATH 150 courses, 45 to 61 in IEPATH 040 and 38 to 44 in IEPATH 030. Graduate applicants may qualify for a waiver based on a degree from an approved country.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Boise State programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
