What TOEFL score do you need for the University of Nevada, Reno?

Graduate applicants need official scores from a test taken within the past two years, and the Graduate School notes that programmes may set higher scores than its minimums. It also says official TOEFL scores can take up to four weeks to arrive, so send them early.

For comparison, the undergraduate page asks for IELTS Academic 6.0, and the Graduate School page asks for IELTS Academic 6.5.

Neither page describes conditional admission. Graduate applicants are exempt if they are US citizens or earned a degree in, or are citizens of, one of the Graduate School's pre-approved English-speaking countries.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your University of Nevada, Reno programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
