What PTE score do you need for Brooklyn College?

The supporting documents page says your score must come directly from the testing administrator, from a test within the past two years, and that Pearson scores should be sent electronically to Brooklyn College CUNY Graduate Admissions. The Computer Science page prints PTE as a range, 58 to 63, without saying which end applies to whom. Neither page mentions PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.

On the same program pages, IELTS is 6.5 for Computer Science and 7 for Finance. The English test applies to applicants with a degree from a country where English is not the only official language; US citizens and permanent residents are exempt for Finance.

The pages read do not describe conditional admission for English. The Computer Science program accepts nondegree applicants, but that is about prerequisites, not English scores.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Brooklyn College programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
