Test rules and how to send your score
Certifications are valid if submitted within five years of the date they were achieved, and must clearly state the level reached. The list does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core or a Pearson code. It also lists PTE General Level 3 at B2; that is a different test from PTE Academic.
On the same list, IELTS 5.5 to 6.5 counts as B2, so PTE 59 sits at the same level as IELTS 5.5.

If you fall short
The list says a certificate showing failure to reach a higher level, or one at a lower level, will not be accepted as proof of B2. Bachelor's students also need B1 proof by 30 September of the year after enrolment, and must pass the CLA B2 English certificate to graduate.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Ca' Foscari programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
