What Duolingo score do you need for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo?

The page says the Duolingo test must have been taken within the last two years, and scores should be sent directly from the Duolingo site by searching for "California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo". It sets no Duolingo subscores and does not mention teaching assistantships.

For comparison, the same page sets IELTS at 6.5, also within two years, and notes that some graduate programmes may require higher scores.

The page offers no conditional or pathway route. Undergraduates educated at an institution whose language of instruction is English may be able to request a waiver instead of a test.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Cal Poly programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
