Test rules and how PTE compares
The undergraduate page asks for a recent score but sets no validity period or PTE sending method, and neither page mentions PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.
On the same pages, undergraduate IELTS is 5.5 with no band below 4.5, master's IELTS is 6.0 with no band below 5.0, and doctoral IELTS is 8.0. Duolingo has subscore floors, but PTE is an overall score only.

If you fall short
Graduate applicants below the minimum may be granted conditional admission to the Intensive English Program and a graduate program, with language coursework before full graduate study; this is not available for all programs. All graduate students must also have completed ENG123 Intermediate Composition or take ESL094 in their first semester, whatever their test score.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your California Baptist programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
