Can universities see my previous PTE scores?

No. Pearson says institutions can see only the score you share with them, and cannot see whether your other results were better or worse. Each test has its own Score Report Code, so you choose which attempt to send. For Australia and New Zealand, ticking the DHA or INZ box at booking sends that test's score automatically.

You choose which score to send

Institutions see a score only once you send it through myPTE, and it takes around 48 hours for them to see it. Pearson says they will only see the score you share and can't see if your scores are better or worse than previous attempts (Pearson help centre).

The Score Report Code (SRC) is specific to each test, so each attempt has its own SRC (Score Guide). You can send a previous score as long as it is within two years of the test date; after that it expires and cannot be assigned (Pearson help centre).

Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Canada

If you ticked the box to allocate scores to the DHA (Australia) or INZ (New Zealand) when booking, that test's score is sent automatically. If it was not the score you wanted, Pearson says DHA or INZ cannot review it unless you have already submitted your application; you give them the Test Registration ID of the result you want reviewed (Pearson help centre).
