What PTE score do you need for Capital University?

English test scores must be from the last two years. Capital says scores must normally come directly from the testing agency, but students may upload IELTS and Pearson scores to be verified. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.

On the same page, undergraduate IELTS is 6.0 with reading 6.0 and listening 5.5, graduate IELTS is 6.5 for most programs and 7.0 for ABSN and Law.

Capital's ESL Intensive English Program admits students without a test score, though elementary proficiency is required, and gives an institutional TOEFL at the end of each term. Undergraduates can also be exempt through two years of US high school English, IGCSE or O-Level English at C, IB English, a college composition course or AP English 3, and WAEC applicants from Ghana, Nigeria and The Gambia with an A or B in English in the last two years.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Capital programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
