Test rules and how to send your score

Graduate scores are valid for two years from the date of testing, and the school will not superscore across exam dates. You can upload an unofficial report while applying; the instructions say PTE scores can be sent officially through the Pearson website to be verified online. The pages do not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.

For comparison, the graduate IELTS minimum is 7.0, or 6.5 for Course Focused Engineering master's programmes, and the undergraduate IELTS minimum is 7.

If you fall short

The School of Graduate Studies states that it does not offer conditional admission without official language scores that meet the minimum. A waiver is possible after a degree taught in English, but not for Molecular and Cellular Biology of Disease.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Case Western programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
