Waivers for the BSc
You need no certificate if you are a native speaker, completed at least one year of secondary school taught only in English, or hold a listed national diploma with an English exam grade (such as the Abitur, VWO, Maturità or European Baccalaureate). Other exams go to the Admissions Jury.
English counts in the 15% profile weight with your personal statement and CV, so a higher score helps even above B2.

MSc and deadlines
The MSc FAQ says no English proof is required to apply, as the MScs are taught fully in English and the thesis must be written in English. For the international BSc, the certificate is due before the programme starts; the 2026 upload deadline was 3 July 2026.
