| Graduate | PTE not listed | - |
Test rules and how PTE compares
The undergraduate page links to Pearson but gives no PTE validity period or sending method; its two-year limit is stated for TOEFL and IELTS only. It does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.
On the same undergraduate page, IELTS is 6.0 and TOEFL iBT 71 (3.5 on the new scale). The graduate page asks for TOEFL 79, IELTS 6.5 or Duolingo 120.

If you fall short
The undergraduate page waives the requirement for students who complete PEAP Level 6 or higher, or who finish CWU's UESL program with a B or higher and a recommendation from the program. SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 530 or ACT English 19 also count.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Central Washington programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
