What Duolingo score do you need for Chico State?

You need a score if English is not your native language and you have not had three years of secondary education (or, for graduates, three years of post-secondary study) taught in English. Chico State reserves the right to ask any applicant for evidence of English proficiency, at its sole discretion.

Applicants who do not meet the English requirement can apply for conditional admission by enrolling in a language programme at a partner school; successful completion replaces the test score. For graduate study, only some programmes consider conditional admission: the page lists Art History, Business Administration (MBA), Electrical and Computer Engineering, Kinesiology, Political Science and Teaching International Languages.
