What Duolingo score do you need for College of Charleston?

Both pages ask for scores to be sent directly by the testing agency. The graduate page says English proficiency is required for all international students and may be waived for students who attended a US university or whose coursework was mainly in English, with documentation. Admitted international graduate students are encouraged to apply for assistantships in their programmes; the page sets no separate English score for them.

Neither page gives Duolingo subscores or a validity period.

For comparison, the undergraduate page and the graduate page both set IELTS at 6.5.

Neither page describes conditional admission or a pathway route. Undergraduates can use TOEFL iBT 80 (4 on the 1 to 6 scale), iTEP Academic Plus 3.8, SAT Reading and Writing 500 or ACT Reading 18 with English 20 instead.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your College of Charleston programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
