What PTE score do you need for Edge Hill University?

Edge Hill lists only the UKVI-approved PTE Academic, so book PTE Academic UKVI. Your certificate must be in date: the page says IELTS, Pearson and Trinity ISE SELTs are only valid for two years after the test date. It also notes that SELT grades do not meet GCSE English requirements.

Against IELTS, undergraduate entry is 6.0 with no element below 5.5, taught postgraduate 6.5 with no element below 6.0, and research 7.0 with no element below 6.5.

Edge Hill's pre-sessional entry is set half a band below the degree level in IELTS terms; the PTE UKVI entry points are in the table above. Degrees taught and assessed in English in non-majority English-speaking countries, no more than ten years old, may also be accepted, subject to evidence.

For the Student visa itself, gov.uk asks for English equivalent to CEFR B2 at degree level or above and B1 below degree level, and says a university can assess degree-level applicants' English itself. Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Edge Hill programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
