What PTE score do you need for Emporia State University?

The page says English proficiency scores can be submitted up until the first day of international orientation. It does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code, so ask the international office how it wants PTE scores sent.

On the same page, IELTS is 6.0 with no section below 5.5 for undergraduates and 6.5 with 6.5 sections for the graduate exemption. The middle graduate band lists TOEFL, PTE and Duolingo only, so IELTS has no equivalent of the 49 to 52 PTE band.

Students who score below these requirements, or send no score, receive an I-20 for the Intensive English Program and are tested during international orientation. Depending on the results, they may be placed in Intensive English courses or allowed into academic courses. Graduate students in the Intensive English Program also take IE075 alongside academic courses.
