What IELTS score do you need for Fulbright University Vietnam?

Native English speakers are exempt, as are applicants with at least two consecutive years of high school, college or university education conducted entirely in English. Fulbright also exempts Vietnamese students with a Third Prize or higher in English at a provincial, municipal or regional academic competition (Grade 10 or above), or who represented their province or city in English at the national competition. Other tests are considered case by case.

You can submit a score later, in a window the Admissions Committee announces, or take the free Cambridge English Placement Test (CEPT) that Fulbright runs, where CEFR B2 is required. Admitted students with IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, or who admissions officers think would benefit, are invited to a pre-enrolment English Bridge Program.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Fulbright programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
