If your TOEFL score falls short
Applicants from countries without official English tests, or who cannot take one for unavoidable reasons such as schedule conflicts or cost, may be allowed conditional admission. They must then submit an official result meeting the criteria within six months of admission.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your GIST programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.

What TOEFL score does GIST need?+
In general, 80 on the iBT or 550 on the paper-based test for graduate programmes.
Can I get conditional admission to GIST without TOEFL?+
Possibly, if you cannot take an official test for unavoidable reasons. You must then submit a qualifying score within six months of admission.
Who is exempt from GIST's English test?+
Holders of a bachelor's or higher degree from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK or the USA, with prior approval.
