Test rules and how to send your score
A qualifying score is needed only if your previous degree was from an institution where English is not the foundational language. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code; the only code it prints is for GMAT and GRE.
On the same page, IELTS is 6.0 overall for all degree levels with no band minimums, while TOEFL is set by section too. Your PTE score report must clear every section listed, not just an average.

If you fall short
Completion of ELS level 112 also meets the requirement. GovState runs an Intensive ESL Program, and the English Language and Learning Center page says graduate students can show proficiency through an approved ESL programme or IELTS, PTE or TOEFL scores, with minimums available from ois@govst.edu.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Governors State programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
