What PTE score do you need for Griffith College?

Results must be less than two years old when you start. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, combining sittings or a Pearson institution code, and it gives no PTE score for the Diploma of Educational Studies or for the foundation pathway to the Bachelor of Exercise Science.

Griffith College's page does not list PTE Core. Pearson's PTE Core FAQ says PTE Core is initially only suitable for work and migration visa routes to Canada and that PTE Academic is the test accepted for university study.

For comparison, the same tables set IELTS 5.5 with no band below 5.0 for foundation and diplomas, 6.0 with no band below 5.5 for the Masters Qualifying Program, and 6.5 for the law and health pathways.

Griffith College notes that a small number of diploma and degree pathways need a higher English level even for entry to the foundation program, so check the diploma table for your target degree. Griffith University's own entry page points students below its English minimum to the Academic English Program at Griffith English Language Institute.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Griffith College programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
