What TOEFL score do you need for Hanken?

Hanken School of Economics asks bachelor's applicants for a TOEFL iBT total of 4.0, or 78 for a test taken before 21 January 2026. Master's and PhD applicants need 4.5, or 92 for older tests. The Home Edition is accepted, MyBest scores are not, and results go to Hanken with reporting code 8433.

Test rules at Hanken

Hanken accepts language tests no older than 2 years. For bachelor's and master's main admission, the test must be completed before the application period ends and stay valid until 30 days after you apply. Ask ETS to share your result using reporting code 8433; no department code is needed. Hanken does not accept TOEFL iBT MyBest scores, and the page gives totals only, with no section minimums.

Hanken lists other ways to prove English, including aptitude tests such as SAT or ACT for the bachelor's, GMAT or GRE for master's applicants, and education in English in specific countries. It does not describe a conditional offer.
