What PTE score do you need for Hawaii Pacific University?

Test scores may not be more than two years old by the intended entry term. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core or a Pearson institution code. Graduate English requirements sit on a separate page, and this guide covers only the undergraduate list.

On the same list, IELTS is 6.0, Duolingo 105 and TOEFL iBT 70, so PTE 48 is HPU's PTE route to the same level as IELTS 6.0.

HPU says it has programmes for all levels of English and asks applicants who are unsure of their level to contact the Office of International Admissions. It also accepts English-medium study, a course equivalent to its WRI 1100 with a C or higher, and set levels at language schools such as ELS (Level 110) and EF (B2).

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Hawaii Pacific programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
