What PTE score do you need for Hof University?

The FAQ says you must prove English with an official certificate at the time of your application. It lists IELTS Academic 6.5 and TOEFL 90 (including TOEFL iBT Home Edition) as accepted, and says all other certificates, such as Pearson or Cambridge, are accepted or not by the examination board only after you have submitted your application. Neither page mentions PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson code.

On the Software Engineering page, PTE 60 sits beside IELTS 6.5 and TOEFL iBT 90.

The FAQ says medium of instruction certificates and Duolingo scores are not accepted. If your programme does not name a PTE figure, IELTS or TOEFL is the safer route, because a PTE result is only judged once your application is in.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Hof University programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
