What IELTS score do you need for Hood College?

The undergraduate page says students from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and the United Kingdom are exempt, and tells them to email international@hood.edu to have scores waived.

Hood's graduate how-to-apply page asks for an official Duolingo, TOEFL or IELTS report from applicants whose bachelor's or master's degree was not earned in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland or New Zealand, even if the degree was taught in English. Scores must be no more than one year old, and some writing-intensive programmes may ask for more than the thresholds on the page.

The one-year rule for graduate scores is stricter than the two years many universities allow, so book your IELTS close to your application date. Hood also asks for a course-by-course evaluation of international transcripts, with World Education Services preferred.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Hood programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
