What TOEFL score do you need for Howard University?

Send scores electronically through ETS to institution code 5297; the Graduate School says no department code is needed. For comparison, the undergraduate page accepts IELTS 6.5 overall, and the Graduate School page asks for 6.5 with no band below 6.0.

Undergraduates are waived automatically if they come from a nation where English is an official language or have studied in the US for at least four years, and a waiver may be granted with a school letter confirming English-medium instruction. Graduate applicants with a degree from a regionally accredited US institution, or from a university where English is both the language of instruction and the official language of the country, are exempt.
