Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Ankara?

Pearson's test centre finder listed three PTE centres in Ankara on 30 October 2026, all partner venues: Yildirim Beyazit University, TOBB University of Economics and Technology, and British Side English Language School (Ankara).

Pearson's finder does not say which tests each centre runs on which day. When you book, choose PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI or PTE Core first and then your city; only centres with slots for that test appear.

Read on 30 October 2026 in the providers' own listings for Ankara and in Pearson's price finder with Turkey selected. Pearson charges TRY 10,000 for PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI and PTE Core alike, and TRY 8,500 for PTE Home A1, A2 or B1. The same IDP prices apply across Turkey, so Ankara costs no more than Istanbul.

Refund, transfer and payment rules are in our IELTS fee in Turkey and PTE fee in Turkey guides.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Ankara and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Register with the same identity document you will bring on test day.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then a centre and a slot (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport for every PTE test, and a passport is the only ID accepted if you test outside your country of citizenship, which covers most expatriate residents.

Results: IELTS on computer results usually arrive within a few days, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
