Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Eldoret?

Pearson's Kenya summary names Uasin Gishu, the county that includes Eldoret, among its four Kenyan PTE locations. PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI and PTE Core cost USD 260.

Read on 29 and 30 October 2026 in the British Council's booking system, IDP's Eldoret test-date page, and Pearson's fees page with Kenya selected. Prices match Nairobi. No IELTS for UKVI sessions were listed in Eldoret; IDP offers UKVI in Nairobi.

Refund, transfer and payment rules are in our IELTS fee in Kenya and PTE fee in Kenya guides.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Eldoret and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Register with the identity document you will bring on test day, and bring that same document.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then your city, a centre and a slot (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport, and a passport is the only ID accepted if you test outside your country of citizenship; check its exceptions list before relying on a national ID card.

Results: both IELTS booking systems show results in 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
