Where can I take PTE in Kenya?

Nairobi has two centres and usually the most slots. Candidates in Kisumu, Kakamega or Kisii are closest to the Uasin Gishu centre; those on the coast can use Mombasa. Pearson lets you reschedule free while more than 14 days remain, so booking early costs nothing if your plans move.

Pick the test before the centre: PTE Academic for study and Australian or New Zealand migration, PTE Academic UKVI for UK visas that need a four-skill SELT, PTE Home for UK family routes, PTE Core for Canada. One warning for nurses: the NMC accepts only IELTS Academic and OET, so PTE cannot be used for UK nursing registration, even though PTE Academic UKVI works for UK visas. Compare the options in OET vs PTE for nurses.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay. Pearson accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa, and a voucher or promo code is entered at the payment step (Pearson booking guide). Your account name must match your passport exactly; it can be corrected up to 3 days before the test, never on test day, and a mismatch means no test and no refund.

The fee is the same at every centre. See PTE exam fee in Kenya for the full price list and refund rules, and take a free PTE mock test before you choose a date.
