How much is the IELTS exam fee in Albania?

The dates and fees page offers card payment (Mastercard or Visa) in the online booking system, or a bank transfer in euros to the British Council's Intesa Sanpaolo account. If you pay by transfer, email the payment slip within two calendar days. The British Council cannot accept payments from sanctioned banks and will freeze such funds.

You upload a scan of a valid ID when you register, and under-18s need a parental consent form.

Under the British Council's Albania policy, you can cancel 15 or more days ahead for 75% back and get nothing within 14 days. Transfers are free 15 or more days ahead, cost EUR 60 within 5 to 14 days, and are not allowed under five days. Illness, bereavement and other exceptional circumstances can be raised with the test centre before the test or up to two calendar days after it, never once results are out. The centre replies within seven working days, and refunds can take 4 to 6 weeks.

IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills follow the separate UKVI policy: cancel more than 14 days ahead for 75% back, within 14 days but more than two days ahead for 50%, within two days for 25%, and nothing on or after test day. A UKVI booking can be transferred only once, more than 14 days ahead, to a date within three months, and the centre may charge up to 25%. B1 (4.0 in each part) still applies to people already on those routes before 8 January 2026 who are only extending (British Council).
