IELTS Online, One Skill Retake and the keyboard
IELTS Online lets you take IELTS Academic at home with a video-call Speaking test; results come in 6 to 8 calendar days (IELTS Online). The British Council says it is not accepted by immigration authorities, so for any visa book a centre test. One Skill Retake is open after IELTS on computer and IELTS for UKVI on computer, within 60 days of the full test (One Skill Retake).
The British Council in Austria notes that its computers use the QWERTZ keyboard as standard, so practise on that layout if you are used to QWERTY. IDP's sessions in Vienna return results in 1 to 5 days.
