IELTS fees in Cambodia by provider
IDP's fees come from its live Phnom Penh and Siem Reap session pages. The British Council has no Cambodian IELTS website; its Phnom Penh sessions, at SpringBoard4Education, are listed in its registration system, where IELTS Academic on computer showed USD 195. Prices are in US dollars with no separate tax line.
IDP says the British Council and IDP stopped paper-based IELTS in Cambodia from 1 February 2026 (IDP). IDP's Life Skills sessions are still listed on paper, since that test has no computer version. IELTS Online was not offered on IDP's Cambodian site.
| Test | IDP | British Council |

Postponement, cancellation and refund rules
IDP Cambodia's rule: cancel or postpone more than 5 weeks before the test and you get a refund minus an administration fee. Within 5 weeks you are charged the full fee, unless a serious medical reason applies; a medical certificate sent within 5 days of the test date gets a refund minus the local administrative cost. Missing the test without notice loses the whole fee. IDP adds that refund rules are set regionally, so confirm with the centre.
The British Council's Cambodian rules were not published on a country page we could read; check the terms in its booking system before you pay. Our IELTS cancel, reschedule and refund guide explains the usual patterns.
