IELTS kaina: what IELTS costs in Lithuania
The fee is on the ielts.org page for AMES Education, the only venue on the Lithuanian finder, and on AMES Education's own IELTS page. AMES says IELTS is held on computer in its Vilnius exam centre.
| Test | Fee | Where |
|---|---|---|
| IELTS Academic or General Training on computer | EUR 269 | AMES Education, Vilnius |
| IELTS for UKVI or Life Skills | Not offered in Lithuania | Nearest: Riga (EUR 308) or Tallinn (EUR 282) |
Local details worth knowing
AMES Education says an IELTS result can be credited in place of the English state matura exam under a Ministry of Education order (V-1441); check the conditions with your school or university before relying on it.
Results on computer arrive in 1 to 5 days, and One Skill Retake is available in Vilnius. The British Council's Lithuanian site still says it tests in four locations, but ielts.org listed only Vilnius on 14 October 2026.

Cancellation, transfer and refund rules
The British Council's Lithuanian policy uses the rules in the table. Because the booking is made online in the EU, the British Council also gives a 14-day cooling-off period: cancel within 14 days of the payment confirmation and you get the full fee back. If illness or an emergency stops you on the day, you can apply for special consideration before the test or up to two calendar days after it; if approved you get a transfer or a refund, sometimes minus an admin fee. IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills follow a separate policy.
If you need IELTS for UKVI, see IELTS fee in Latvia and IELTS fee in Estonia. PTE costs EUR 240 in Vilnius (PTE fee in Lithuania).
| When you ask | Cancel (standard IELTS) | Transfer (standard IELTS) |
|---|---|---|
| 15 or more days before the test | 75% refund (25% admin fee) | Free |
| 5 to 14 days before | No refund | Allowed, 25% admin fee |
| Under 5 days | No refund | Not allowed (treated as a cancellation) |
