IELTS fees in Mongolia by provider
Mongolia is unusual: the British Council's fee depends on the venue. Its registration system showed IELTS Academic on computer at MNT 889,000 at the English Academy of MUST, MNT 898,000 at the National University of Mongolia's IELTS Center and MNT 899,000 at Jet Track (Jet School of English). The British Council has no Mongolian IELTS website, so the booking screen is the only official price list.
IDP's Ulaanbaatar sessions listed IELTS Academic and General Training on computer at MNT 920,000. The ielts.org finder marked no Mongolian venue as UKVI approved, so IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills were not available in Mongolia. The British Council's three venues are marked for One Skill Retake, but no Mongolian fee for it was published.

Transfer, cancellation and refund rules
IDP Mongolia's policy, counted from your Listening, Reading and Writing date: a transfer is free 15 or more days ahead, costs up to 25% of the fee within 5 to 14 days, and is not allowed within 4 days. Cancelling 15 or more days ahead refunds 75%; within 14 days nothing comes back. Special consideration can be requested up to two calendar days after the test. A One Skill Retake cancelled 72 hours or more before its session is fully refunded.

Book the British Council through its global registration system with Mongolia selected, and IDP through its Mongolian test finder. Bring the same ID document you book with on test day.
