How much is the IELTS exam fee in Palestine?

From 1 September 2026 the British Council stopped accepting cash for any exam registration at its offices (payment notice). You can pay by bank deposit or transfer to its designated account, or by Visa card at its offices.

The British Council did not publish a separate Palestine cancellation page that we could read. Its standard IELTS policy, published on its Senegal and Sierra Leone sites, gives 75% back if you cancel 15 or more days before the test and nothing within 14 days; confirm with the centre before you pay. Illness, bereavement and other exceptional circumstances can be raised with the test centre before the test or up to two calendar days after it, never once results are out. The centre replies within seven working days, and refunds can take 4 to 6 weeks.

IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills follow the separate UKVI policy: cancel more than 14 days ahead for 75% back, within 14 days but more than two days ahead for 50%, within two days for 25%, and nothing on or after test day. A UKVI booking can be transferred only once, more than 14 days ahead, to a date within three months, and the centre may charge up to 25%.
