IELTS fees in Papua New Guinea
IDP's Port Moresby centre page listed Academic and General Training sessions from 21 October 2026, every one at AUD 475, on computer, with results in 1 to 5 days. IDP says it has run IELTS in Port Moresby since 2018. The ielts.org finder shows the same single venue; the British Council had none.
No IELTS for UKVI, Life Skills or paper session was listed, and we found no published One Skill Retake fee. The fee is in Australian dollars, so your bank's kina exchange rate and charges apply.

Change, cancellation and refund rules
IDP's cancellation and refund policy covers every centre in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific for IELTS Academic and General Training booked since 1 July 2025. You get one free change of date, format or module, made before the original test date. Cancel more than 13 days ahead for a 100% refund, 7 to 13 days ahead for 50%, and under 7 days for nothing; a booking you have already changed is not refunded. Refunds go back to the original payment method in about 7 to 10 business days.
Serious illness, injury or another emergency can earn a free transfer (never a refund) if you apply to the centre within 14 days of the test date with evidence issued in the country where the test was booked. The policy does not cover One Skill Retake, IELTS for UKVI, Life Skills or re-marks.

Booking IELTS in Papua New Guinea, and IELTS or PTE?
Book on IDP's Port Moresby page and bring the passport you booked with. Test takers in Lae, Mount Hagen or the islands must travel to Port Moresby for either test.
