If you live outside Port Moresby
Test takers from Lae, Madang, Mount Hagen or the islands must travel to Port Moresby, and so must PTE candidates, since Pearson's only centre is there too. Book flights only after your test booking is confirmed, and remember IDP's Pacific policy gives one free change of date.
IELTS on computer returns results in 1 to 5 days, which helps if you need to leave Port Moresby soon after.
