How much is the IELTS exam fee in Singapore?

IDP Singapore's rule is longer than most: reschedule or cancel more than 5 weeks before the test and you get a refund minus an administration charge. Within 5 weeks you pay the full fee, unless you send evidence within 5 days of a serious illness or injury, a close family death, being a victim of crime or a traffic accident, or military service.

The British Council's policy for IELTS Academic and General Training: a transfer is free 15 or more days before the test, costs 25% of the fee within 5 to 14 days, and is not allowed under 5 days. Cancelling 15 or more days ahead returns 75%; within 14 days nothing comes back. Illness or an emergency can be claimed as exceptional circumstances up to two calendar days after the test, with evidence, and refunds take 4 to 6 weeks.

IDP lets you book online, or in person at its One Raffles Place office; you upload a clear colour scan of your passport and pay by credit card. The British Council takes bookings only online, not over the counter. Bring the same passport on test day.
