What PTE score do you need for Illinois Wesleyan University?

Scores more than two years old will not be accepted. The admission FAQ says score reports must be emailed to international@iwu.edu by your school teacher or guidance counselor, since copies from applicants are not official, or you can ask the test agency to send scores, which may take two weeks. Neither page mentions PTE Academic Online, PTE Core or a Pearson institution code.

On the admission page, IELTS is 6.5, TOEFL iBT 80 and Duolingo 115, so PTE 56 is IWU's PTE route to the same level as IELTS 6.5.

The requirement is also met if English is your first language or you completed at least three years of secondary education at an English-medium school. The pages do not describe conditional admission or an English pathway.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Illinois Wesleyan programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
