What TOEFL score do you need for Indiana Wesleyan University?

The catalog requires students who do not speak English as their first and primary language to take TOEFL or IELTS before admission, and notes that schools or programmes within IWU may require higher scores or more. The pages do not give a TOEFL institution code or validity period.

For comparison, the catalog sets IELTS at 6.5 for undergraduate and master's programmes and 7 for doctoral programmes.

The Bridge Program is open to first-year students at an American college, or transfers who do not yet meet the standard requirement. Level 1 entry needs TOEFL 42 or higher and Level 2 entry 54 or higher; the Program Director makes the final placement decision. The catalog also offers a waiver for four full years at a US high school, four years at an English-medium institution, SAT Reading 27, ACT English and Reading 20, or an accredited bachelor's degree.
