What TOEFL score do you need for Ohio Wesleyan University?

You may self-report scores when you apply, but Ohio Wesleyan requires official ones at the enrolment stage. TOEFL Essentials is accepted at 8.0. The university reserves the right to require more English instruction on arrival: students whose iBT is below 85 may need to take an assessment with a multiple-choice exam, a 45-minute writing sample and a short interview.

The proficiency page says students with lower English should still apply; if accepted, they may need to take one or two credit-bearing English support courses in their first semester. Depending on the orientation assessment, students may enrol in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses that carry credit toward graduation. Waivers exist for some English-speaking countries, four years of secondary school in one, and IB, O Level or A Level English.
