Is a PTE score of 65 good?

Yes, PTE 65 is a strong score. Pearson links overall 63–70 to IELTS 7.0, and its typical postgraduate minimum is 57–67, so 65 meets most master's requirements. For Australia, 65 in each skill on a test from 7 August 2025 is Competent English, not Proficient: Proficient needs 69 writing and 76 speaking.
