Test rules and how to send your score
University Admissions accepts PTE Academic or PTE Academic Online. Upload a copy of your score report and assign your result to "University Admissions in Sweden" in your PTE account; unverifiable results are not accepted. PTE Core is not mentioned.
On the same University Admissions page, English 6 by IELTS is 6.5 overall with no section below 5.5. KI's master's page lists three ways to prove English: certain upper secondary studies, certain university studies or certain English tests.
Pearson has discontinued PTE Academic Online for new bookings, so plan on a test-centre PTE Academic sitting even where this page still lists the online version. See can you take PTE at home.

If you fall short
KI's bachelor's programmes also need Swedish-level Biology 2, Chemistry 2 and Mathematics 4 or their equivalents, assessed by University Admissions. If you cannot reach English 6 by test, check whether your school or university studies meet it. No pre-sessional course is described.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Karolinska programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
