Accepted proofs and exemptions
The KUIC document list accepts IELTS, TOEFL ITP, TOEFL iBT, SAT Reading and Writing and the KU English Proficiency Test (KU-EPT). Native English speakers may not need a test, and applicants who graduated from an English-language programme are exempt from the 5.5 rule. PTE and Duolingo are not named.
Bachelor's applicants with a foreign high school diploma also need an equivalency certificate from the Chulalongkorn University Academic Testing Center.

Accountancy deadlines
For the first cohort of the Bachelor of Accountancy, applicants had to finish high school by May 2026. The application deadline was 1 April 2026, with online interviews on 24 April 2026. Each faculty or programme may set higher requirements than the university minimum.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Kasetsart programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Kasetsart University publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
